Arrested Development gets new movie and TV show
Fans of Arrested Development received two great pieces of news today: the long-discussed movie is happening and it will follow on from new TV episodes of the cult show!
Creator Mitchell Hurwitz says the TV show could film next summer and focus on the main characters’ lives over the past five years.
While there’s no shooting schedule yet for the movie, Hurwitz added that the “creative aspects” are in place and negotiations will hammer out “the business side”.

The Dark Knight Rises: Batwing footage captured on set
The elusive Batwing has been seen in action as it hovers back and forth underneath the 6th Street Bridge in downtown Los Angeles.
This video from YouTube was captured on a night shoot on 11 September 2011.
From this clip it looks as if the vehicle will use the same kind of thrust as a Harrier Jump Jet to power itself into the air and then speed away.

It’s official! Fast-talking comedian Eddie Murphy will compere the 2012 Oscar ceremony on 26 February and we think he’s going to be awesome.

Star Wars starts with George Lucas, the boy from Modesto (the nearest thing they have to Tatooine in California) who grew up to be the bearded billionaire king of blockbusters.
Born in May 1944 to a stationary store-owning father, George grew up watching Buck Rogers serials and racing cars. He studied anthropology at college (“How society works, how people put themselves together and make things work, has always been a big interest. [It’s] where mythology comes from, where religion comes from”) before heading off to USC to enrol in the university’s new film course…

A deleted scene from X-Men: First Class proves there was definitely something to the countless intimate moments between Charles and Erik.
The clip, which will be released on the upcoming First Class DVD, takes place during the duo’s mutant recruitment montage, after they enter a gentlemen’s club to discuss teaming up with the insect-winged Angel.
